To upgrade to the latest version of mosDirectory simply follow these steps

Download the latest version of mosDirectory from www.phil-taylor.com/cc
Extract the zip file
Delete the directory.xml file
Rename directory.txt to directory.xml
Zip up the files
Uninstall mosDirectory from your joomla site
Install the newly preped zip
Test your site

NOTE: All your categories and listings will be kept throughout the upgrade process

John Britz: Saturday, 17 May 2008; The above notes on how to upgrade seem to have last been edited in Jan 2007 and no longer seem relevant. When I extracted the zip file there is no file called director.txt I tried to install as is (did not work) I tried to copy the new files over the old (using FTP) I did not try to uninstall and then reinstall - did not make sense to a newbie like me. What do I do. Atually all I am trying to do is get so I can make changes to the configuration and save the file, which it simply will not do. Help please John
