Happy 1st Birthday Lela-Mintaka
Well today is my daughters 1st birthday, as such I have been offline much of the day enjoying it with her and the family. There are some cute videos and photos Google have indexed over the last year – do a search for lela-mintaka with google and enjoy our bundle of joy!

Back to (hard) work…
Now that my cute daughter has arrived I better get back to work and deliver some Phil-A-Form updates as promised…
I’m working hard on getting a Phil-a-form release done soon – the package has just been released to some testers, once I hear back from them I will release it.

While she was sleeping…
We are now home! Lela has been asleep since we left the hospital which was great – In true Taylor fashion we stopped off at PC World on the way home and picked up a new SD Card reader so we could download the images/videos… and here they are:

Who's the daddy? I'm the Daddy!
Cant write much yet, need to sleep and find some way to download 2GB SD Memory card (Bug in linux card reader driver means I cannot read more than 512Mb card!) as it contains the videos and photos but in short the news is:
Baby “Lela Mintaka Taylor” was born on her predicted due date, tonight, 13th December 2006 at 20:34, weighing in at exactly 6Lbs.
Mother and baby are both well and settled down for the night at the hospital. Trevena was in labour for 29 hours, but with contractions two weeks before that also. Delivery happened in a short 15min timespan with Lela being born normally with no drugs or medical assistance.
Special thanks to midwife “Steephie” for all her help through the day and the thoughts and prayers of family and friends worldwide.
Photos and Video of the newborn will be uploaded shortly – but not tonight as I need sleep and not tomorrow as I need to go to hospital to collect my new family.
Well still no baby….
Another night of false hope 
Baby never came! I’m sure she will be here soon (Due next Wednesday) but so far she has decided just to keep us up all night
Off to bed, contractions coming very often…
…is tonight the night my baby is born? God Knows! Trevena is getting contractions between 4-8 mins apart for the last hour – and they are not stopping! On Monday (Trevena’s 21st Birthday!) they were every 7mins apart but stopped at midnight.

Coming Soon – Baby 1.0 UPDATE
Those that are following our news will undoubtedly know that our first baby is now almost due.
Trevena and I are expecting our first child on the 13th December, thats only 8 days from the time of writing! Well, the 13th is the “guessed” date the doctors make 9 months ago - in practice we have no clue what day she will arrive.
I write this post so that you are all kept informed, so you know I may not be as quick to reply to emails or forum posts. Chris and Greg will do their best without me and I will be back (working from home) as soon as baby is released from hospital.
Trevena has been having contractions for days now, at one point they were every 7mins apart – but still no sign of real labor yet 
Coming Soon – Release of Baby 1.0
Thats right, we (well the wife) is now 36 weeks pregnant, which in medical terms is Full Term. That means the baby can be delivered any time from now until her due date of the 13th December. It was quite a shock when we visited the doctors yesterday and the doctor told us her child came at 36 weeks!!! Shock, my baby could be born today, or tomorrow, or …. well anytime very soon.
I write this post so that you are all prewarned!! I will be offline as soon as labour begins and until “her indoors” allows me to return (else I am a dead man) at short notice – The guys in the office (Chris and Greg) will keep things running while I am away.
Our First Wedding Anniversary
This weekend marks the first anniversary of our marriage! We were married on 8th October 2005 !
Therefore I am taking a long weekend away from the computer – back Tuesday!
Phil & Trevena (And Baby Taylor)
Its a GIRL! – to be born 13th December 2006
We went for our 20th Week scan this morning and got some great images of our wonderful new baby. She is a girl! or so the experts guessed and Trevena and I are really happy. We were able to see all kinds of things on the scan, from the four chambers of the heart to her little toes and hands. Everything is healthy.
